Guidance

The GuidanceCcounselor serves all of the students at Hillcrest Elementary. In addition, the following programs and services are coordinated through the guidance office: Individual counseling, small group counseling, consultation, S.A.F.E. Program, Devereux counseling, social worker, Kids Konnect program, and Exceptional Education services.

Did you know that elementary counselors...

• Counsel individual students as needed and maintain confidentiality.
• Counsel small groups of children with similar concerns.
• Consult with teachers and assist them in meeting individual student needs.
• Coordinate referrals to school and community agencies.
• Maintain an information center in the Guidance office for parents and teachers.
