The school has the responsibilitiy for First Aid Only. In cases of illness, the student will be cared for until the parent arrives, or the student is returned to the classroom. In case of minor injury, attention will be given and the child will return to class. In case of major injury, first aid will be provided and the parent will be immediately notified.
Please make certain that ALL contact
information is up to date.
Under no circumstance will any medication, not even aspirin, be given to any student without a physician's order and an authorization form that is signed by the parent or guardian.
Forms are available in the clinic or online here. This form must be filled out completely, and all directions must be followed exactly. The school nurse will verify your contact information when the form is submitted. Medication cannot be administered unless contact information is up to date.
