 Update from Hillcrest P.E. teacher, Ms. Cheryl Langhorst
The Challenge to the Cookie Monster event was a blast. Sabrina D. and Emilia C. were the two students who sold the most cookies in the Classic Cookie contest. They challenged the principal to the Presidential Fitness challenge. While Dr. G. beat the girls in push-ups and flexibility, the girls came back to beat Dr. G. in running a half mile, running the shuttle, and performing curl-ups. We are going to call this a tie because Dr. G. was wearing the cookie monster costume and it was a fairly hot day. However, the girls and Dr. G. did a fantastic job. The following chart indicates blue and red. Blue is presidential and red is national. Keep up the good work!
